A Home, Not Just a House

Hand-Crafted Log Homes is an owner/builder company dedicated to the craftsmanship that originated in the early log cabin. As handcrafters, we specialize in the hand hewn Appalachian dovetail style.

There are many options or variations to the dovetail style including chinking or full scribe. Each of our homes has the option to be hewn by broadax or planed to a smooth finish.

Because we are custom log home builders we can customize your log home plans to your specific needs and wants.

We have added two new homes to our Plans Page. These designs represent a sample of the plans we have available, ranging from small log homes to luxury log homes.
